I was hoping it had a self programmable Impulse Response feature.... I really like the way a journeytek under bridgeplate pickup sounds (k&k mini alternative.. that I think don't better). When you make a impulse response of your own guitar, with one of these pickups, It's shocking how close you can get to a mic'd guitar sound without needing to use an internal or external mic... Especially in a mix. No quack... Lots of body and acoustic guitar sound dynamics.... Non-invasive in any acoustic guitar.... Almost indestructible too.

In your opinion, can this amp tonaly compete with Bose L1 or Yamaha Stagepas 1K you have - for vocals and guitar? I know they both have more volume, but I am asking about the beauty of tone only. I am thinking of getting two Sonnet 60 amps instead of Bose or Yamaha. Thank you.

Thank you so much for this video. I do a solo show on the Alabama Gulf Coast guitar and vocals and I use a loop pedal for my leads. Last summer I lost my voice because of cancer and I’ve had to go to using my loop Paul, and doing just instrumental shows. It works but I’m like you I’m tired of just the same sound all the time. I really like the mojo Mojo pedal does. I may have to try that I know I’m looking for something again thank you for all that you do.

Hi Lewis, have been running a Street Cube EX which is 50W for café and pub gigs. I just need a cleaner louder sound as I take on more gigs. I have been saving and eyeing off the L1 Pro 8 and the L1 Pro 16 and am just a little worried if I get the smaller of the two I will regret it. Would you say that the L1 8 is loud enough and clean enough for medium indoor and outdoor gigs. I’m talking pub and wedding gigs acoustic. Probably 80-150 people type venue?

How does it sound? I'm looking at one tomorrow 🎶

Mine is for sale! Used 2 times only. For a senior, it is a night mare! Trying to adjust the sound is just too complex. I could cry. I saved up a year to buy it!

Orange Tortex Dunlop .60 is my favourite. Any heavier and strumming doesn't feel right to me, it's like the strings are being attacked. Maybe it's bad technique on my part lol.

Great review! I was wondering how well the 6 1/2" speaker reproduces vocals. 6 1/2" just seems too small for me for low end, unless a bass port serves the purpose. Would this single amp be an option for leaving the PA at home for gigs...? Thanks again for the review!

Just curious, do ever regret getting the Pro8 and not the Pro16? I really want to get the 8 but it seems like most musicians opt for the 16 🤔

You can replace that switch easily to soft switch if you a bit soldering. Not hard at all. I did change on my pedal

Nice guitar, nice playing but that amp sounds SHIT🤮 usually fender amps are great so I’m assuming it’s how you’ve set the eq. Picks ? What can one say, in 40 years of playing I still can’t make my mind up 🙃🤣
